Business Exits and Life Stress
Exiting a business, whether by choice or life's directive, often brings immense stress. This challenge is what drew us into the realm of mergers and acquisitions, where we observed the struggles individuals face when trying to handle a full plate. Drawing from our own experiences, particularly Amit's health challenges at an early age, we made a conscious decision to carve a new path. This path, though unconventional, led us to encounter invaluable connections that have shaped our journey. Today, we use what we have learnt to help others navigate their unique paths.
Uniqueness of Purpose
Amit's unwavering personal mission to guide children of all ages in finding and pursuing their true calling laid the foundation for the Chintan Project. This mission evolved into a broader purpose—assisting business leaders in discovering and following their own reasons for being, their unique purpose. It is critical to note that he defined a child as “One in a state of readiness to learn and to grow.” By this definition, he argued that we were ALL children - for why else were we here.
Every event and moment carries distinct meanings for individuals. The COVID era, for instance, held different meanings for each of us. Recognizing and understanding the uniqueness of purpose, even in the face of challenges, is a cornerstone of our approach to assisting others.
Business Insight: Danny's Journey
Danny's story exemplifies the strategic approach we advocate. As the CEO of a family-owned heating HVAC company, Danny faced stagnation. In exploring his business strategy, we posed a crucial question: What if your wife fired you as CEO and replaced you? This led to the revelation that the prescribed program wasn't aligned with Danny's 'why'—his reason for running the business. Strategically maintaining the business at its current level, he realized that growth was not in harmony with his broader life goals. By collaboratively devising an exit strategy that was executed over three years, Danny successfully exited the business in January 2023.

This powerful realization, illustrated through Danny's journey, underscores the importance of aligning strategies with personal aspirations. Often, we may feel off track, thinking something is wrong, but reflection reveals that things are unfolding precisely to get us the things that we truly value most.
